Our story

We've perfected the art of BBQ.

Carolina Kitchen & BBQ Co. is a family barbecue joint on Glendale Avenue in Sparks. We combine years of experience to bring you the best flavors around: meats smoked low and slow, sausage we make ourselves and sauces bottled under our own label.

Our pitmaster and owner Clay Cobb came home to Nevada after cooking in fine-dining kitchens on the East Coast, and opened this place with his mom. The pig in the overalls holding the North Carolina flag says the rest.

    Pulled pork, brisket, pork ribs and chicken come off our smokers, and our pork-and-beef Cajun links are made right here. Ask about the sausage flavor of the week.

What are your hours?

Tuesday to Thursday 11 AM to 4 PM, Friday 11 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 11 AM to 5 PM. We're closed Sunday and Monday. See directions and hours before you head over.

Can I order online?

Do you cater?

Yes: birthdays, holiday parties, corporate events and weddings. Choose a self-service buffet (10 guests minimum), a delivered-and-dressed buffet, a full-service buffet (75 guests minimum) or an onsite cook with one of our smokers. Call 775-355-1227 or fill in our catering inquiry form.

How much notice do you need for catering?

24 hours for drop-off or pick-up catering, though we'll do our best with last-minute orders. For full-service catering, book as far ahead as you can. We deliver up to 100 miles away; delivery charges depend on distance and order size.
